NIIMBL Faculty Fellows: A Sabbatical and Industry Program

The intent of NIIMBL’s Faculty Fellows program is to create a diverse and engaged community of academics that can work collaboratively and effectively with industry and represent a variety of disciplines, backgrounds, and institutions. NIIMBL Faculty Fellows will gain valuable experience and exposure to state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical manufacturing, learn about real-world industry challenges, seed new industry-academic partnerships, and strengthen the overall member community.


Hybrid Model Federated Learning Request for Information (RFI 2024.2)

The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) is dedicated to advancing biopharmaceutical manufacturing innovation, developing standards to enhance manufacturing efficiencies and speed, and cultivating a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing workforce. This RFI is related to applications of Hybrid Model Federated Learning. This RFI seeks innovative approaches that combine Federated Learning with hybrid models (combining Physics-Based and AI/ML data-driven methodologies) specifically tailored for biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. This request aims to gather insights and concepts for achieving integration and operationalization of these models in a practical, industry-relevant context. This RFI aims to collect information only and is not a solicitation for funding proposals.


Universal Connectivity for In-Process Analytics in Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (RFI 2024.1)
