NIIMBL invites members to submit an abstract for a poster presentation planned for the 2025 National Meeting being held at the Capital Hilton, June 24-26, 2025. The NIIMBL National Meeting is a members-only hybrid event designed to drive substantive and meaningful discussions on topics relevant to the challenges facing the biomanufacturing community with a goal of moving the needle towards innovation and change.

Lightning Talk: Deliver a one-minute pitch to captivate your audience.
Evening Reception: Present your poster in a relaxed, engaging setting.
Abstract Categories:
To help you choose the right category for your submission, here are detailed descriptions:
General Technical Poster:
Focus: Innovative technologies and case studies addressing the challenges and needs of the biopharmaceutical manufacturing community.
Examples: Purification of complex proteins, manufacturing of viral vectors and vaccines, novel approaches to cell therapies, and big data applications.
Goal: Stimulate conversations around innovation and change.
NIIMBL Project or Program Poster (by invitation only):
Focus: Specific NIIMBL Projects and Programs.
Eligibility: Invitations will be sent to open NIIMBL Projects needing to fulfill their contractual presentation requirements and to NIIMBL program leads.
Requirement: Identify your poster title with the Project ID. The principal investigator must present the poster.
Small-to-Medium Manufacturers Poster:
Focus: How your company is changing the landscape of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Details: Provide sufficient quantitative data to determine the potential impact of your technology.
Eligibility: Limited to Tier 3 Industry member organizations.
Workforce/Talent Poster:
Focus: Innovative approaches to education, training, workforce development, and talent acquisition within our member community.
Examples: Academic programs, professional development programs and services, regional talent development and recruiting efforts, diversity-focused initiatives, and case studies.
Goal: Highlight workforce initiatives of interest to NIIMBL’s member ecosystem.

Abstract Limit: 400 words
Note: The Principal Investigator identified as the "Poster Presenter" must attend the National Meeting in person, deliver the Lightning Talk, and present the poster. Virtual attendance is available for post-doctoral and graduate students upon signing the NDA.
To ensure a diverse and engaged community of participants, NIIMBL will select posters based on overall quality, diversity of focus, and alignment with the meeting program. Following last year's successful format, accepted posters will be displayed on monitors using a digital platform. Additionally, poster presenters will be invited to give a Lightning Talk (a short pitch) following a designated plenary session.
