NIIMBL invites Tier 3 Industry member organizations to showcase how your company is transforming the future of biopharmaceutical manufacturing through a Small-to-Medium Manufacturers Poster Presentation. This is a unique opportunity to spotlight your innovations, technologies, and workforce strategies in front of a national audience of industry leaders, academic partners, and federal stakeholders. To help demonstrate the potential impact of your work, submissions should include sufficient quantitative data. 

The National Meeting is a members-only hybrid event designed to foster meaningful discussions on the challenges and opportunities in biomanufacturing, with the goal of driving innovation and change.

Presentation Format

Each accepted abstract will include two components:

  • Lightning Talk – A 1-minute pitch + 1 PPT slide about your program delivered at the close of a designated plenary session. 
  • Evening Poster Presentations & Reception – A digital poster presentation of your program in an informal, engaging setting.

Eligibility & Presenter Requirements

  • A Principal Investigator (PI) must be identified as the “Presenter” in the submission.
  • The PI must:
    • Register for and attend the National Meeting in person
    • Deliver the Lightning Talk
    • Present the poster during the reception
  • Postdoctoral researchers and graduate students are not eligible to serve as presenters or attend in person.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Limit: 400 words
  • Submission Deadline: February 23, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: by March 31, 2026

NIIMBL will prioritize abstracts from our newest Tier 3 SMM; however, all submissions will be taken into consideration.

Abstracts should begin with a brief but precise statement your company and the importance of your technology in addressing some of the challenges faced in the biomanufacturing space. Accepted abstracts will be published in the Poster Abstract Booklet, distributed in advance of the meeting and one PPT slide will be expected by June 19 for the Lightning Talk presentation.

Posters will be displayed digitally on monitors provided by NIIMBL. No physical posters are required. Detailed formatting instructions and upload deadlines will be shared upon acceptance. NIIMBL assigns monitors and session times.
