NIIMBL National Meeting
Capital Hilton | June 23-25, 2026

NIIMBL invites members to submit abstracts for Workforce/Talent Poster Presentations at the NIIMBL National Meeting. These posters will highlight innovative approaches to education, training, workforce development, and talent acquisition within the NIIMBL member community.

The National Meeting is a members-only hybrid event designed to foster meaningful discussions on the challenges and opportunities in biomanufacturing, with the goal of driving innovation and change.

What's Your ROI?

Visibility – Gain recognition by presenting your work to an audience of top thought leaders in industry, academia, nonprofits, and our federal partners.
Networking – Connect with experts, exchange ideas, and explore collaboration opportunities.
Impact – Contribute to the advancement of building a world-class workforce in biomanufacturing by sharing your insights and solutions.

Presentation Format

Each accepted abstract will include two components:

  • Lightning Talk – A 1-minute pitch + 1 slide about your program delivered at the close of a designated plenary session.
  • Evening Poster Presentations & Reception – A digital poster presentation of your program in an informal, engaging setting.

Eligibility & Presenter Requirements

  • A Principal Investigator (PI) must be identified as the “Presenter” in the submission.
  • The PI must:
    • Register for and attend the National Meeting in person
    • Deliver the Lightning Talk
    • Present the poster during the reception
  • Postdoctoral researchers and graduate students are not eligible to serve as presenters or attend in person.

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract Limit: 400 words
  • Submission Deadline: February 23, 2026
